A custom-built ecommerce platform for generic medicine, developed in PHP rather than assembled from a store plugin.

How we thought about it
Generic medicine retail carries constraints an off-the-shelf store does not handle well: a large catalogue of similar-sounding products, strict accuracy requirements on what is listed, and buyers who search by salt name as often as by brand. The platform was built in PHP so the catalogue structure and search could be shaped around how the products are actually organised.
