The client arrived with something unusual and useful: a working prototype of the design they wanted, rather than a description of it. That turns the first half of a project — the part where everyone discovers they pictured different things — into an afternoon. Our job was to take a layout that existed as a one-off and rebuild it as something they could run: alternating dark and light sections, a portfolio they add to after every campaign, and copy that keeps the Hinglish the studio actually speaks in, because sanding that off would have removed the thing that makes them sound like themselves.

This one is WordPress, and that was the right answer. The content changes constantly — every new campaign is a portfolio entry — and the studio has people who can already work a page builder. Building it custom would have meant they had to call us to add a logo to their own portfolio.
