An online catalogue and store for a television brand
Overview
What this is
A WooCommerce store for a consumer electronics brand selling LED and LCD televisions, with a filterable catalogue, warranty and policy pages, and a blog, all editable by the brand's own team.
Approach
How we thought about it
Televisions are a considered purchase that people research before they buy, so the catalogue has to answer specification questions properly — screen size, resolution, the operating system, what ports are on the back — rather than show a picture and a price. The other half of the job is after the sale: warranty terms and a support route that is easy to find, because for an electronics brand the service page is read more often than the shop. WooCommerce was the right choice here. The catalogue behaves like a catalogue, the products behave like products, and the team adds a new model without calling us.
