Taxi and transport operators

The same problem turns up every time. Bookings happen on the phone, so nothing is written down and the price depends on who answers. The work is to get the enquiry into a form short enough that somebody will finish it on a phone, while still capturing what dispatch actually needs — route, time, vehicle and passenger count. After the first two, the second part became the more interesting one: these operators publish their per-kilometre rates rather than quoting them on a call, and a published rate is only useful if the operator can change it the day fuel moves. So the fleet, the rates, the popular routes and the tour packages all sit behind an admin panel.

Five operators, one case study. They are the same brief solved five times, and listing them separately would make this portfolio look longer than it is while telling you nothing new. Two of them are indoretaxiservices.in and indorecabservice.co.in. Indu Tour and Travels and Sanvi Tour and Travels are listed on their own because both needed a custom admin panel on an MVC structure, which is a different piece of work.
