Sunrise Crop Sciences
A product catalogue the manufacturer keeps current themselves
Overview
What this is
A catalogue site for an agricultural inputs manufacturer in Gwalior — bio fertilisers, water-soluble fertilisers, biostimulants and micronutrients — built in PHP with an admin panel, so the product range is maintained by the company rather than by us.
Approach
How we thought about it
The obvious thing to build here would have been a shop, and it would have been the wrong answer. Agricultural inputs are sold through dealers: the farmer buys locally, on credit, from someone they know, and a cart that bypasses that dealer damages the relationship the business runs on. So the site is a catalogue that works hard — each product has its own page with composition, crops and application, and every one of those pages has an enquiry route attached to it.
A product range like this changes with the season and with what is in stock. A catalogue the manufacturer cannot edit goes stale within a year, and a stale catalogue costs more credibility than a plain one does, so the admin panel was the part worth building properly.
Scope
What we built
- Admin panel for products, categories and content, so a new formulation goes live without a developer
- Product catalogue organised by category, with a page per product
- Enquiry form attached to each product, so the message arrives with context
- Dealer locator for buyers who want to purchase locally
- WhatsApp and call as primary contact routes
- Blog for crop and season guidance
- Certification and quality information where buyers look for it

What this involved
Custom software development
Most businesses run on a spreadsheet that three people understand and nobody trusts. We replace those with something auditable that the whole team can use.

Most sites that do not rank have a specific, findable reason. Diagnosing it is the first job — before anyone talks about keywords or content.
